Adam Kemist is a Board-certified Pedorthist with biomechanics expertise and knowledge of specialty walking and running footwear. Adam treats each client’s needs individually by offering the most current technical foot knowledge and the highest quality products available. Adam makes orthotics prescribed by Podiatrists as well as creating custom insoles for clients’ shoes.

A Board-certified Pedorthist is an individual who has studied foot anatomy and pathology, biomechanics, shoe construction and modification, foot orthosis, fabrication and materials, footwear fitting, and patient/practice management, and who abides by the American Board for Certification’s Code of Ethics outlining responsibilities to the patient, the physician, the public and the profession.

Adam is an avid runner who has competed in many well-known local races in the Bay Area. His personal experience as a runner has helped him not only have firsthand experience of many discomforts of clients, but also to help with real world solutions to the most common running discomforts.

Adam owned The Runners High specialty running and walking stores in Los Altos and Menlo , CA from 1995 to 2008. He remains in close contact with footwear companies about their updates and innovations in order to guide clients in their shoe choices.
